Dhanika is from Melbourne and is the Vice President for 2019. He completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science in 2016 from Monash University and is currently in his third year of the DDS course. He decided to continue his studies at the Melbourne University Dental School so he could further his understanding of the human body in a specific niche and translate that understanding to positive patient outcomes (but mainly so he could find a way to develop numerous “fun facts” to bring out at future dinner parties.) In his spare time Dhanika is a self-proclaimed “foodie” and enjoys discovering new and old restaurants around Melbourne; and if the opportunity presents itself, to travel to new countries and experience different cultures first hand. He also enjoys watching the tennis, cricket and his childhood favourite, “The Simpsons”. As Vice President Dhanika hopes to make sure that our social and academic events run to the highest standard and caters to the needs of our diverse student body in order to deliver the best experience possible throughout the year!
